How to use the extra time that most of us have on our hands to our profit? What new skill to learn and where to find the best online courses? Answers below!
As I’m writing this, the UK is now a few days into its 7th week of lockdown. This you will either not want / need to be reminded of, or you’ll in fact have no idea how long it’s now been and can barely remember what day of the week it is in the first place.
The main point here is that for all of us, these are 7 weeks (and a few days) where we have not been out in the world, soaking up information and most importantly, learning. Netflix can be a good educational tool depending on the program, but in all this time, can you say you’ve learnt something new from what you’ve watched?
Some have been fortunate to keep working and so been able to keep busy, but whether you have or not, life has changed dramatically and so too has the way that we learn, which will now be no doubt almost entirely through technology, i.e., your TV or your phone. So, it’s important now more than ever to keep focused and to productively expand our methods of learning. If you need more convincing that this is true, then here are 3 very good reasons:
1: You’re bored, TV will only take you so far
2: This is a rare event and in history, one very unlikely to repeat itself any time soon so the time that you get at home can be a well needed time to re-organize, re-structure and plan
3: Whatever you do, there will be a massive game of catch up when we emerge from the lockdown, meaning you need to stay sharp!
With that in mind, Greater London Properties are proud to present this fine list below of online course which you can take part in from home, broaden your horizons and invest in your future. Before you stop reading they’re all FREE and some even offer the option to become genuinely qualified (certificate included). Without further ado..
