Renters Rights Act Briefing

Renters Rights Act Briefing

GLP Lettings Director, Megan Cutforth has teamed up with Laura Southgate from Cripps law firm for a webinar on preparing for the new Renter's Rights Act landscape. This isn’t just another legal update – it’s your chance to cut through the jargon and really understand what the new rules mean for you.

Join Megan Cutforth, Greater London Properties and Laura Southgate, Cripps for a focused, practical pre‑recorded webinar, built for landlords and letting agents who want to get ahead of the Renters’ Rights Act 2025.

This isn’t just another legal update – it’s your chance to cut through the jargon and really understand what the new rules mean for you. We’ll walk you through the big changes: how tenancy structures are shifting, what stronger tenant protections look like in practice, and the new rules around ending tenancies.

We will also break down the legal reforms – covering changes to tenancy structures, strengthening tenant protections and new rules on terminating tenancies – explaining what landlords and their agents must do (and when) to stay on the right side of the law.

You’ll leave with clear, actionable steps on what you need to do (and when) to stay compliant, plus smart tips on adapting your processes, keeping tenant relationships positive, and sidestepping common pitfalls as the reforms roll out.

If you’re a landlord in London, you’ve probably heard the term “selective licensing.” It can sound complicated, but don’t worry — we’ll make it simple.

Selling for the first time can feel overwhelming. Everyone has advice, most of it conflicting. Here are the key questions to ask every estate agent, plus the step-by-step process you’ll go through to launch your home the right way.

Buying a home is one of life’s biggest decisions. Whether it’s your first purchase or your fifth, the process can feel daunting, with plenty of pitfalls to avoid. From mortgages and surveys to legal paperwork and negotiations, there’s a lot to take on board. By arming yourself with the right information and working with a knowledgeable local estate agent, you’ll be better placed to make smart decisions and find the home that truly fits your needs.

Today's Budget introduces new tax measures that will influence affordability, demand and long-term property decisions. With higher household costs and a new levy on homes over £2 million, buyers and sellers will need to plan their next steps with a clearer strategy.
